Welcome to GSP School OS ("GSP", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our platform — including the web application at app.gspschoolos.com, the mobile apps, the desktop apps, and the API — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
If you are using GSP on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
"Platform" means all GSP School OS products, services, websites, APIs, and applications.
"School" means the educational institution that has subscribed to the Platform.
"User" means any individual (administrator, teacher, student, parent, or staff) who accesses the Platform under a School's account.
"School Data" means all data inputted into the Platform by or on behalf of the School, including student records, attendance data, exam results, and fee information.
To use GSP, a School must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately at hello@gspschoolos.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
You may not share account credentials across multiple schools or use the Platform in a way that circumvents subscription limits.
GSP grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your school's internal management purposes, in accordance with these Terms and your subscription plan.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of subscription. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST).
Payments are processed via Razorpay. By providing payment information you authorise us to charge the applicable fees on the billing cycle you select.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase for annual plans; monthly plans are non-refundable after the billing cycle begins.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You retain all ownership of School Data. We process School Data only to provide and improve the Platform and as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary consents and legal basis to upload student and personal data to the Platform, in compliance with applicable Indian data protection laws.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect School Data. In the event of a data breach that affects your school, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
Upon termination of your account, we will retain your School Data for 30 days during which you may request an export. After that period, data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
The Platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and content, is owned by GSP and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
You grant GSP a limited licence to use School Data solely to operate and improve the Platform. We will not sell School Data to third parties or use it for advertising.
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Razorpay (payment processing) and cloud infrastructure providers. Your use of such services is governed by the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions or changes.
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the Platform. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Unplanned outages will be communicated via our status page.
Enterprise plan subscribers are entitled to a formal SLA. Starter and School plan subscribers are not entitled to uptime credits for downtime.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GSP disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GSP's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
In no event shall GSP be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by cancelling your subscription; we may terminate by providing 30 days' written notice, or immediately if you breach these Terms or misuse the Platform.
Upon termination, your access to the Platform will be suspended. Data export obligations described in Section 5 apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage you to contact us first at hello@gspschoolos.com to resolve disputes informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
